OK, here's the skinny on the server.....
On July 7th, Valve released a major update to DOD:Source. They added the achievements and a couple more stock maps. BUT, they also changed/updated the other stock maps, like Anzio, Avalanche, Kalt, Flash, Jagd, etc.

This caused a problem for 2 reasons:
 We had the old versions on our alamoallies.com server which did NOT get updated - (these get downloaded automatically)
 We (Meaning me) copied the old versions of our stock maps over the new versions on the DOD:Server : [smilie=embarassed.gif] [smilie=embarassed.gif] [smilie=embarassed.gif] [smilie=embarassed.gif] [smilie=embarassed.gif] [smilie=embarassed.gif] [smilie=embarassed.gif] [smilie=embarassed.gif]

This caused a host of problems including - You couldn't play on other servers with tne new maps, and other players couldn't join when we were playing stock maps. (This was NOT a problem with all the custom maps we have).

SO:
 Solution - I edited the =alAmo=alliesmappack.zip file and removed ALL of the stock maps from it. (You should have received the stock maps from Valve)
 I reloaded the entire DOD server - which wiped everything out and re-installed the stock maps.
 I am uploading all of the config, maps, sounds that make =alAmo= the fun place to be that it is.
:?: I'm hoping mani mod loads without a hitch
[smilie=a_alien.gif] I'm hoping Detox loads up with out issue.

 Fingers are crossed at this point.

SO, what do you need to do?
[smilie=a_bigteeth.gif] Well, the easiest thing you can do is right click on the DOD Source listing in your STEAM GAMES screen and select "Delete all local content". This wipes out your local DOD:S copy and re-installs all the stock maps. (takes about 1 hour on cable)

[smilie=a_biggrin.gif] You then would need to download the =alamo=alliesmappack.zip file and install it in your DOD\maps folder. You would also need to do the same with the alamosoundpack.zip. Install that in your/dod/sounds/admin_plugin folder.

 BUT, if you want to save time, you can go to your /dod/maps folder and [smilie=angry.gif] delete all of the stock maps. But this is at YOUR disgretion

dod_Anzio.bsp
dod_Argentan.bsp
dod_Avalanche.bsp
dod_Colmar.bsp
dod_Donner.bsp
dod_Flash.bsp
dod_Jagd.bsp
dod_Kalt.bsp
dod_Palermo.bsp
( :!: NOTE: Make sure you get rid of any other files with those names like .ain or .txt :!: ).

Then just join a server that is playing that map and you will update one at a time.
