Modes

Postby =alAmo=Hitman on Wed Mar 05, 2008 11:51 pm

I think that we should play a lot of free for all and team deathmatch mostly, since there aren't that many people coming in. Switch it up between those two. Put one headquarters round in there on crossfire. That map is perfect for it. Post your thoughts about what modes we should have here.

Well LMS isn't bad but it takes people out of action for to long. HQ is fun but the team with more people usually always wins. TDM is good and it really dosent matter who has more people and DM is just fine regardless of how many people play. I think we would have a couple different maps in the rotation. I will make my recommendations later.

Headquarters

Postby =alAmo=skeleton on Thu Mar 06, 2008 10:12 am

Hitman,
I was using headquarters to get peoples ranks up fast. You gotta admit, 1000 points a round isn't too hard to take. We can mix it up if we want to. I can make a couple of rounds in one mode, than a couple of rounds in another mode. Shouldn't be too big a deal.

I have to admit though, when I played that way in the I6 server, it pissed me off to go from one mode to another, just when you get in the groove, BAM, it changes.

THERE IS A MODE

Postby =alAmo=skeleton on Thu Mar 06, 2008 2:14 pm

There is a mode called "Old School" where everyone starts with the same gun, and has to earn upgrades in game. Kind of like a GUN GAME in CSS. We'll have to try that some day.

OK

Once Fred practices a bit and starts to like the game, and Ruffrider repairs his computer, we'll start experimenting with the modes. For now, this is helping the NOOBS ramp up. (I noticed you went up a few ranks too Hitman).

fred does not like COD4. It is extremely unbalanced. noobs do not stand a chance against a level 55 with all their advanced weaponry and perks.

Don't sweat it fred, We all started out as NOOBS. You just have to keep playing, you don't even have to be skilled, just showing up gets you points.

TIP:
Pick up weapons you find and try them out!!!

Saber had to start over

Saber had to start over, he's loving it! He doesn't have a problem with ranking up, but then again, he has been to the Promised land!!!
